I'm leaving...

Okay, so I'm heading out to Nashville, TN for the Creating Keepsakes Univery (CKU) in a few hours with my friends. It's so exciting, though I am going to miss Kim and even her down to earth attitude about CKU.

I hope to return reinvigorated and enthusiastic about scrapping!

Prayers to all my friends in need of them, and there are many of you today!

Challenge of the Day

From Two Peas:
Share one thing you thought you would never do , but did & are glad you did?

I'd actually have to say serve in the Army.  It was such a wild ride but I did some pretty crazy and interesting things there - things that I still can't believe.  I don't think I could do it now, but I'm glad I did it when I was younger.

"How do you get rid of your stash that you don't need or use anymore?"

I'm getting ready to clean out my scrap room with the help of a friend. I intend to make a huge pile of stuff that I won't/can't use any more.  Then I'll let my friends take what they want and donate the rest.

I've really been in releasing mode lately, a'la Fly Lady.

I'm printing...

I'm printing my journaling at Kim's while she packs. I still have Y to do, but did eventually finish U. (Uterus and something else...) I'm excited to go but almost as excited to come home already.

Two to go!

I have two alphabet letters to go to finish my journaling for CKU.  Letters Y and U.

Random Bits & Fraggles

Fraggles:

Owen and Clara love to have pig tails, but we call them Fraggles.  This all started when I gave them Red Fraggle dolls for their second birthday.  I figured it was an easy Halloween costume for two red headed little girls: just pig tails and red shirts!  Somehow they made the connection between the character and the hair.

This picture is from last night when they insisted I make them some "fraggles."  Then of course came the famous hug and request for pictures.

Random Challenge:

Things I'd never use in my scrapbook: Those liquid filled stickers.
